Hi, I’m Dr. Danielle.
I have always been curious about understanding people on a deeper emotional and mental level. From a young age, I enjoyed supporting and caring for others, which led me to pursue both undergraduate and graduate degrees in mental health. Over the years, I have trained and worked in an array of settings including outpatient crisis centers, Maternal-Child Health and NICU hospital units, residential treatment centers, group therapy practices, and my own private practice. Each of these experiences grew my knowledge and skills and shaped my understanding of the importance of addressing the root causes of challenges—not just the symptoms.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a wide variety of clients, helping them build skills to navigate life’s challenges. This inspired me to explore more deeply how we become stuck in our relationships with others and ourselves. After earning my Doctorate in Applied Clinical Psychology, I now ground my practice in attachment-based and mind-body methods.
By examining the conscious and unconscious patterns we use to seek connection with others—patterns often rooted in our early experiences—we can better understand current struggles and find a clearer path forward. These patterns shape how we experience and navigate life’s challenges including disconnection from emotions, infertility, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, life transitions, grief and loss, and relationships.
My approach is warm, supportive, and focused. Clients often share that they find me easy to talk to, compassionate, and deeply attuned to their needs. I practice several therapy techniques that are backed by research to effectively and efficiently improve mental well-being. But more important than the techniques practiced is the trust and collaboration that we will set as the foundation of our successful therapeutic relationship. Whether you’re seeking support individually, as a couple, or within your family system, I look forward to working with you on your journey to healing and growth.
